WABCO Diagnostic Interface 2 Set

The functionality of the new interface is similar to that of the old product with number 446 301 022 0. Several improvements have also been made. The USB port, for example, is now also compatible with the USB 2.0 standard in addition to USB 1.1.
Data communication is now visible
The communication between the DI-2 and the vehicle electronics can now be traced so that any faults are obvious immediately. K-line, CAN and SAE connections to the controller are shown by means of separate LEDs, which illuminate to show an established connection to the vehicle electronics and flash to show data transfer. The active connection to the PC via USB is also shown with flashing signals.
Since most modern computers are only equipped with USB ports and no longer have COM interfaces, the DI-2 is also only manufactured in the USB version.
Adapted Diagnostics Programs
The DI-2 requires a new program module in the diagnostics software. This module will be successively integrated into our broad range of WABCO Diagnostic Programs. The programs that already support the DI-2 are indicated with a blue colour mark behind the version number in the system diagnosis download area. Of course, the existing Diagnostic Interfaces can also continue to be used with the new program versions.
