The WABCO Trailer ABS ECU Valve is a crucial component in maintaining stability and control for heavy-duty trailers. Designed in a 2S/2M configuration, this unit integrates an electronic control module with an advanced valve system to manage brake pressure efficiently. Trailer ABS systems are essential for preventing wheel lock-up, especially in emergency braking situations or on slippery roads. Without ABS, a trailer’s wheels can skid, leading to a dangerous loss of control. The WABCO 4005001020 ensures that braking force is applied evenly, reducing wear on tires and brake components while also improving stopping distances.
