Fast solenoid switching drives the WABCO ABS Modulator Valve through the rapid pressure changes a hard stop demands. It takes its command from the controller and adjusts brake pressure at the wheel it serves. The valve can drop and restore that pressure many times across a single stop. This unit fits off-highway machines that run their brakes on a pneumatic circuit away from public roads. Its place is at the modulation point where the anti-lock action reaches the brake. Acting on the controller’s signal, the WABCO 4721950790 carries out the pressure changes each stop needs.
